Clematis 'Stand by Me Lavender'

A non-vining bush-type Clematis that blooms from late May into June with masses of nodding, open bell-shaped, lavender flowers. After the flowers fade, Clematis 'Stand by Me Lavender' is covered with silvery, tufted seed heads that continue the show into the summer. Stake it for an upright form or let the arching stems mingle with its neighbors.  PPAF
