Hosta 'Chris' Tropical Sundown'

[S-M] With the colors of a sunset in a tropical paradise, this introduction from Christina Brinkmann is a thing of beauty. Hosta 'Chris' Tropical Sundown' has a similar leaf shape to its seed parent, Hosta 'Valley's Ruffle Shuffle': long and narrow, with a lightly ruffled edge. Instead of being green, though, the leaves are sunny yellow. It's the dark red petioles that hold the foliage in an upright form that really add a dramatic contrast. Hosta 'Chris' Tropical Sundown' packs a lot of color into a compact plant.
