Hosta 'Avocado Toast'

[M] We love Bob Solberg's Hosta 'Lemon Snap', and we are super excited about this green-centered sport! 'Avocado Toast' has rounded, puckered leaves that are a unique shade of emerald green. Each leaf is circled by a wide, bright yellow edge that turns chartreuse by late summer. The thick leaves set on sturdy, deep red petioles that bleed color into the leaf. Like its parent, Hosta 'Avocado Toast' is a vigorous grower that quickly forms a fairly upright mound about 10" tall and 22" wide. Fertile, lavender flowers bloom in late summer on thick, stout, dark red scapes.
