Hosta 'Chromosphere'

[M] This sunny hybrid from Mark Zilis is a cross of 'Ogon Tachi' x 'English Sunrise'. One of just a handful of hybrids utilizing Hosta rectifolia genes, so this could be a useful bridge plant for hybridizers interested in exploring this direction. Smooth foliage is somewhat wavy and bright gold in color. Hosta 'Chromosphere' is a good grower and forms a somewhat upright mound about 14" high and 30" across. Lavender flowers bloom in mid summer.
