Hosta 'Lakeside Sapphire Pleats'

[M-L]  One of Mary Chastain's older hybrids.  Hosta 'Lakeside Sapphire Pleats' has broad, rounded, deep blue leaves that are heavily puckered and lightly cupped. The strong petioles are a lighter shade of blue that extends up into the leaf for a unique effect.  Hosta 'Lakeside Sapphire Pleats' grows into a sturdy clump at least 15" tall and 36" across that blooms with white flowers in mid summer.
