Hosta 'Mango Lettuce'

[M] A hybrid from 'Red Bull' with an unusual set of characteristics. 'Mango Lettuce' has round, soft green leaves that develop a moderate amount of corrugation, much like a sieboldiana-type plant. The surprise comes when you peek under the leaves and see them setting on purple petioles. Definitely not a sieboldiana trait! Hosta 'Mango Lettuce' has another surprise within its flowers....the white flowers have a prominent green stripe from the tip of every other petal. Hybridizers take note...the flowers are fertile!
