Hosta 'Sunny Day'

[M] You can't help but feel good, when you look at this hosta...just like you can't help but feel good on a beautiful, sunny day. Hosta 'Sunny Day' resulted when Bob crossed a ‘Tom Terrific’ sibling back to its purple-petioled parent. Pointed, wavy leaves are bright yellow, and set on deep purple petioles that show color up into the leaf base. 'Sunny Day' forms a striking, upright clump at least 14" tall and 24" across that shows of its purple legs perfectly. Hybridizers are going to have fun with this one!
