Hosta 'Venus'

[M-L] There is nothing mythical about this divine, triple flowered sport of 'Aphrodite'. 'Venus' has the typical glossy, bright green leaves of Hosta plantaginea, but the flowers are anything but typical. In late summer, sturdy scapes hold huge, deliciously fragrant, white flowers with 18-24 petals. In northern locations, Hosta 'Venus' is sometimes reluctant to open her flowers. Ample water and some direct sun may help. Quickly grows into a large clump about 24" tall and 50" across.
