Hosta 'Holar Purple Flash'

[M] Hybridizer Ronny Van Keer of Belgium is quickly making a name for himself as a rising star in the hosta world. News of his once-in-a-lifetime seedling of 'Purple Haze' x 'Riptide' traveled quickly through the hosta-sphere, and 'Holar Purple Flash' is finally ready for its grand debut. Pointed leaves are lightly cupped, wavy, and held atop purple petioles. From spring well into early summer, each blue-green leaf is highlighted with a strong purple flash through the center, often reaching right to the leaf tip. The color is much more concentrated and bold than in 'Purple Haze', and lasts longer. Hosta 'Holar Purple Flash' will be on every hostaholic's must-have list!
