A compact version of Amsonia hubrichtii. Amsonia 'String Theory' forms compact, upright mounds of thread-like, bright green leaves that are topped in late spring with clusters of star-shaped, sky-blue flowers. In the fall, the fine textured foliage turns golden-yellow. Amsonia 'String Theory' is tolerant of heat and humidity, and is deer resistant.
