Hosta 'Half and Half'

[S-M] Discovered a few years ago as a sport from 'Lakeside Cupcake', this selection emerges in the spring dressed in its full colors. No waiting for the colors to develop over several weeks like its parent. The heart-shaped, gently cupped leaves have superb substance and are divided into perfect thirds, with the pure white center edged in blue-green. Foliage shows light dimpling at maturity. Hosta 'Half and Half' is a slower, but steady grower that looks fresh and crisp all season. Forms a clump about 12" tall and 24" across that blooms in mid summer with light colored flowers on compact, white scapes.
