Hosta 'Tea and Crumpets'
[S] Call the neighbors, it tea time! This small hybrid from the Lachman's always looks neat and proper. The green leaves of 'Tea and Crumpets' are shaped like spoons and trimmed by creamy margins. The foliage has good substance and shows some light puckering on a mature plant, while stout petioles hold the leaves fairly upright. Somewhat rhizotomous, Hosta 'Tea and Crumpets' quickly forms a clump about 10-12" tall and 20" across that blooms in mid summer with lavender flowers. An older plant, but it is easy to grow, doesn't take up much room, and is distinct.
