Hosta 'Winter Snow'

[VL] This sport of 'Sum and Substance' has huge, glossy leaves that are the same chartreuse color as its parent, except they are edged with a white margin. The margin is much wider than that of 'Parhelion' and becomes quite wavy at maturity. Distinct among the multitude of 'Sum and Substance' sports and one of my favorites. Hosta 'Winter Snow' forms an enormous, sun tolerant clump about 30" high and over 6 feet across that is topped with lavender flowers in mid summer.
