Colocasia 'Redemption'

The elephant ear that set the internet on fire a couple years ago when the hybridizer, Brian Williams, auctioned off the first plant to be released for a winning bid of over $12,000! Colocasia 'Redemption' is like no other elephant ear. Large, glossy leaves are lightly textured, pitch black, with wavy margins. At maturity, each black leaf develops a bold, neon-pink center blaze that radiates through the veins toward the outer leaf. Everyone will stop and gasp when they see the gorgeous Colocasia 'Redemption' in your garden! Like all elephant ears, this plant thrives with rich soil, lots of water, and warm temperatures. pp34729
