Ordering & Shipping
Ordering - To ensure order accuracy, we prefer that all orders be placed via our secure online store. Our online store is our catalog. We do not have a printed catalog.
Payment - All orders must be pre-paid. We accept payment via PayPal, credit card, check, and money order.
Our preferred method of payment is through PayPal or credit card. PayPal is our credit card processor. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card! If you would like to pay by credit card, select the PayPal/Credit Card option during check out. If you do not have a PayPal account, once you reach the PayPal screen, look for the section titled Pay as a guest and click the link to enter your credit card details.

To pay by check or money order, select "Check/Money Order" during checkout.
Payment by check or money order is required within 7 days of placing an order to guarantee the plants will be reserved for you. Plants will be temporarily reserved for one week to allow time for check or money order to be mailed. The order will not be shipped until payment is received.
Shipping - Plants are shipped via Priority Mail on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Saturdays. Most plants are shipped bare root with their roots wrapped in damp paper. Foliage will be left intact, but flowers and scapes may be removed to facilitate easier packing.
Shipping Fee - Shipping cost is $8.00 plus $1.00 for each item, unless otherwise noted.
Order Pickup - If you would like to pick up your order here at the nursery, choose the Store Pickup option during checkout and you will not be charged for shipping. Please contact us ahead of time to schedule a convenient time to pick up your order. We are open to the public Tuesday-Sunday during the growing season, but a little notice will allow us to make sure your order is ready for you.
Shipping Season - Because of our northern location, our shipping schedule depends a great deal on Mother Nature. We prefer to wait until the plants are up enough to verify their ID before shipping. In Northeast Iowa, that means we usually will not begin shipping until late April or early May. We will try to accommodate requested ship dates when at all possible.
Your patience is greatly appreciated during the hectic, busy spring season. Our nursery is open to local customers six days a week during the growing season and we are often busy with customers during business hours. We do not have any employees and can only pack so many orders at a time. Needless to say, we often don't accomplish as much as we would like to. Rest assured, we will get your order to you as quickly as we possibly can!
