Hosta 'Lone Star'

[VL]  Like everything in the Lone Star state, this sport of Olga Petryszyn's 'Key West' is larger than life.  Hosta 'Lone Star' has broad, emerald-green leaves edged by wide, yellow margins.  The smooth foliage has prominent veining, great substance, and shows some waviness with age.  Hosta 'Lone Star' grows into a massive, vase-like clump at least 26-28" tall and 52" across that blooms with tall scapes of fertile, white flowers in early summer.  PP35134
