Hosta 'Royal Crest'

[M-L] One of the most frequent question we hear is "what hostas can I grow in the sun?" 'Royal Crest' is a great choice, with its rounded, thick, rubbery green leaves. A possible tetraploid, resulting from a cross of 'Royal Standard' x 'Braveheart' from Hans Hansen. A more "heavy duty" plant than either of its parents, Hosta 'Royal Crest' will form semi upright mound about 25" tall and 53" across that blooms in late summer with large, fragrant, white flowers. If you need a workhorse hosta for a sunny area, this is it. PPAF
