Hosta 'Silver Plumes'

[S-M]  A sport of Hosta 'White Feather Improved' that Danny Van Eechaute selected for its interesting transition of colors.  'Silver Plumes' emerges creamy-white in the spring, and gradually the veins green up and the leaf becomes misted with green.  By mid summer, the plant is mostly green.  As a tetraploid, the foliage of Hosta 'Silver Plumes' hold up better than many white hostas, forming an upright mound about 18-20" tall.
