Hosta 'Smash Hit'

[M] Like a well crafted song, this hosta has all the right ingredients to be a hit! A sport of 'Orange Marmalade' that outshines its parent in every way. The foliage is thicker and the deep blue-green margin is wider. Bright gold leaf centers transition from vibrant orange-gold, to clear-yellow, to near white, just like its parent. The color contrast between the bright center and broad, dark edge is striking! Hosta 'Smash Hit' is much more vigorous than its parent and will form a slightly smaller clump about 14" high and 30" across. Pale lavender flowers bloom in mid summer.
