Hosta 'Trendsetter'

[M] Master hybridizer Hans Hansen doesn't follow trends, he creates them, and his latest introduction is a prime example! 'Trendsetter' is a cross of a streaked sport of 'Niagara Falls' x 'Empress Wu' with gently cupped, heart-shaped green leaves edged by wide, heavily ruffled margins that start yellow and turn creamy-white. Hosta 'Trendsetter' forms a low, wide mound only about 12" tall and 40" across that blooms in early-mid summer with fertile, lavender flowers. Hop on board with this trend!
