Hosta 'Barndance'
[M-L] This plant will forever trigger many good memories of our friends John and Linda Port. 'Barndance' is a seedling of 'Lena', a streaked sport of 'Lime Piecrust' Linda discovered many years ago. You'll want to grab your partner for a few spins around the dancefloor, as this plant builds with excitement. The rounded, gently cupped leaves emerge limey-green in the spring and brighten to gold by early summer. Leaf margins are rippled, the numerous veins are deeply impressed, and the foliage shows light corrugation, all making for a lot of interest. As if to kick up its heels, occasional leaves will twist a bit, adding even more motion. Hosta 'Barndance' can handle some sun, which makes the 26" tall by 60" wide mound glow. Very fertile, light lavender flowers bloom in mid-summer.
