[M] This 'Pewterware' hybrid from Tony Avent brings a fun twist to hosta flowers. When Hosta 'Branching Out' blooms in early fall, each sturdy scape branches into multiple "branchlets", each carrying several white flowers. The end result is a large, long lasting floral show. Hybridizers may find this a fun plant to work with, since the flowers are fertile. The flowers aren't the only thing 'Branching Out' has going for it. Smooth, green leaves have a high gloss finish, and ruffled margins that end in a sharp tip. Hosta 'Branching Out' is a vigorous grower that forms an 18" tall by 48" wide mound that looks fresh all summer.
