Hosta 'Buffalo Ice Mouse'

[Mini]  When Dana and Milan Zubrik of the Slovak Republic discovered this distinct sport arising from 'Blue Mouse Ears', they immediately took notice! Reaching just 8" tall and forming a tidy 14" wide mound, Hosta 'Buffalo Ice Mouse' is a tiny gem that packs all the famous thick, rubbery substance of its parent into a perfectly proportioned footprint.

Classic round, blue-green leaves are trimmed with a razor-thin, snow-white line along the very edge, making each leaf look as if it was delicately traced in fine frost. As the plant matures, those striking white borders occasionally feather and streak into the leaf, giving each leaf its own unique character. In midsummer, short scapes rise just above the compact mound to display charming clusters of lavender blooms.

Hosta 'Buffalo Ice Mouse' brings loads of refined detail to alpine troughs, shady rock gardens, and container displays!
