Hosta 'Capitol Hill'
[M-L] A dark and handsome sport of the 1995 American Hosta Society Convention gift plant, 'Potomac Pride'. The round, glossy leaves of Hosta 'Capitol Hill' are about as deep green as you'll find in a hosta, and circled be a wide, chartreuse border. The heavy foliage becomes strongly puckered with maturity, forming a beautiful mound at least 15" tall and 30" across. Hosta 'Capitol Hill' blooms in mid summer with scapes of light lavender, spider-like flowers. I think we can all agree this will make a fantastic addition to any garden...no politics involved!
