Hosta 'Cherry Cheesecake'

[M] Bob says this is the one! The most common complaint about red petioled hostas is that once mature, you usually can't see the red. Hosta 'Cherry Cheesecake' changes that, with a very upright mound form that shows off the brilliant red petioles. This sibling of 'Ruby Earrings' has bright yellow leaves that cup gently and develop light corrugation, while red from the petioles creeps into the base of the leaves. Hosta 'Cherry Cheesecake' stands tall and proud, blooming with vibrant red scapes of flowers. This one is sure to give you a sugar rush!
