Hosta 'Gigantosaurus'

[VL]  No need to fear this prehistoric giant as you work in your garden.  Hans Hansen has created a new hosta of massive proportions, yet gentle in nature!  Hosta 'Gigantosaurus' is a hybrid of 'Empress Wu' streaked x 'Blueberry Muffins' with huge, 17" long by 11" wide, blue leaves that emerge in the spring with a yellow margin that turns creamy-white by mid summer.  The foliage is a bit wavy, lightly corrugated, and thick enough to hold up to slugs and bugs.  Be sure to give Hosta 'Gigantosaurus' plenty of space, as it with mature into a clump up to 32" tall and 78" across that blooms with fertile, light lavender flowers held just above the leaves in early summer.  PP35135
