Hosta 'Hammered Gold'

[M] Like dented metal, this 'Pin Stripe Sister' seedling from Don Rawson is full of character. Hosta 'Hammered Gold' has round leaves so heavily puckered and corrugated that they often become misshapen. The thick leaves start chartreuse in the spring and brighten to rich, yellow-gold by mid summer. Hosta 'Hammered Gold' forms a mound at least 14" tall and 22" across that blooms with fertile, white flowers in mid summer.
