Hosta 'Smash Hit'

[M] Like a well crafted song, this hosta has all the right ingredients to be a hit! A sport of 'Orange Marmalade' that outshines its parent in every way. The foliage is thicker and the deep green margin is wider. Bright gold leaf centers transition from vibrant orange-gold, to clear-yellow, to near white, just like its parent. The color contrast between the bright center and broad, dark edge is striking! Hosta 'Smash Hit' seems to be a more vigorous than its parent and will form a slightly smaller clump about 14" high and 30" across. Pale lavender flowers bloom in mid summer.
