[M-L] A low, spreading mound of elongated, heart-shaped leaves are green with a narrow gold margin. 'Spartacus' is a sport of Mildred's 'Sea Gulf Stream' with the same wonderfully rippled and serrated edge, and numerous, deep veins. Hosta 'Spartacus' forms a clump about 17" tall and 36" across that is topped with arching scapes of fertile, pale lavender flowers in early summer.
