Hosta 'Sultans of Swing'

[M] This gorgeous hybrid from Hugo Philips of Belgium is the result of a cross between 'Exotic Dancer' and kikutii var. caput-avis. The leaves of 'Sultans of Swing' are long and flowing, ending in a sharp, twisted point. Soft, blue-green in the spring, the foliage darkens to gray-green by mid summer while the heavily ruffled, yellow margin turns creamy-white. The margin color randomly streaks into the leaf center, leaving trails of light and dark where the colors blend. Hosta 'Sultans of Swing' forms a lively, medium sized mound that will dance its way on to your list of favorites. Lavender flowers bloom in late summer.
