Hosta 'Minstrel Magic'

[Mini-S] This cute crowd pleaser from Don Dean is almost small enough to be classified as a miniature. Hosta 'Minstrel Magic' resulted from combining late blooming genetics from 'Hideko Tajima', 'Chabo Unazuki', and an unnamed seedling. The dark green, narrow leaves are smooth, glossy, and edged by a narrow yellow margin that eventually turns white. The foliage is quite wavy, forming a dense, lively mound about 10" tall and 20" wide that looks fresh all season. In late summer, Hosta 'Minstrel Magic' blooms with light purple flowers on burgundy scapes. A polished performer that you'll enjoy having in your garden.
