[S] This pretty little sport of 'Gold Edger' was found by Peter Ruh's grandson, Dustin, who named it for his father. The waxy, blue-green leaves are much thicker than it's parent, which suggests it may be tetraploid. A wide, light green margin edges each heart-shaped leaf and some leaves are noticeably pinched to create an interesting wave half way up the leaf. Hosta 'Timothy' grows slower than 'Gold Edger' to form a soothingly colored, compact clump about 7" high and 16" across. Pale lavender flowers open in early summer.
