[VL] Fransen's 'Wunderbar' is a yellow edged sport of 'Empress Wu', very similar to the US plant 'Wu-La-La'. The drama factor gets a boost with this sport of 'Wunderbar'. 'Handsome Devil' is a dramatic improvement, with bright, snow-white margins edging each huge, blue-green leaf. With maturity, the heavy foliage will develop moderate puckering and deep veining. Hosta 'Handsome Devil' a strong grower that will form a massive mound 3-4’ tall and over 5’ across! Fertile, pale lavender flowers are held just above the foliage in mid summer.
