Hosta 'Bounty'

[S] A tetraploid sport of 'Lonesome Dove' that makes a beautiful plant even more so. Cupped, rounded leaves are white, with very wide blue edges. 'Bounty' has incredibly thick leaf substance and holds up well into the season. The parent plant is difficult to grow, but the wide margins make Hosta 'Bounty' a more viable plant, but still a slow grower. Plant it in rich soil where it will get morning sun, and it will eventually grow into a striking little clump. Blooms in mid summer with lavender flowers.
