Bergenia cordifolia 'Tubby Andrews'
A rare, variegated Pig Squeak that will have all your plant friends swooning! Bergenia cordifolia 'Tubby Andrews' forms low mounds of rounded, leathery leaves that are randomly splashed with green and cream. Cool temperatures blush the foliage pink. No two leaves are the same, and every plant is different. Any solid green divisions should be removed from the clump to maintain the showy variegation. Bergenia 'Tubby Andrews' blooms in the spring with spikes of pink flowers.
Only 10 nicely variegated plants available. These are growing in quart pots, as shown in the picture. We will make sure every plant we ship is variegated, but the amount of variegation varies from leaf to leaf and plant to plant. Be aware that the plants are showing some brown leaf edges and spots, after the heat, humidity, and excessive rain the last six weeks.
