Hosta 'Blueberry Scoop'

An In The Country Exclusive!

[M-L]  If you have been searching for a blue hosta with unreal substance, hybridizer Don Rawson created an absolute masterpiece with Hosta 'Blueberry Scoop'!  Combining the lush wax coating of 'Southern Blues' with the legendary heavy substance of 'Rhino Tuff', this unique cross turned out to be something truly extraordinary.

The foliage is out of the ordinary in every way. Measuring a perfectly round 10" long by 10" wide, these thick, leathery leaves feature deeply puckered corrugation and pronounced cupping that catches water droplets like vibrant blue bowls after a summer rain. The saturated, frosty blue color holds up remarkably well, building a sturdy, upright mound that stands 24" tall and spreads at least 30" wide at maturity.

Hosta 'Blueberry Scoop' is your solution for slug-resistant texture in the shade! Leaves this thick mean pests do not stand a chance...and that means pristine foliage from spring straight through autumn!
