Hosta 'Cloud Illusions'

[M] Don Dean has poured years of work into creating interesting hostas with beautiful flower scapes, and this is a great result of that goal. Hosta 'Cloud Illusions' forms an upright, flared mound about 24" tall and 37" across of medium green, pointed leaves with gently rippled edges. Leaf petioles and bloom scapes are red, but that is just a start. Bright fuchsia bracts cradle each flower bud and as the purple buds swell, the vibrant fuchsia base of each bud is revealed. Hosta 'Cloud Illusions' brings an unexpected and welcome pop of color to the late summer shade garden.
