Hosta 'Clusterfest'

[Mini]  Tony Avent unlocked pure miniature hosta magic when he combined the toughness of 'Blue Mouse Ears' with the minuscule charm of Hosta venusta (among others)! Hosta 'Clusterfest' forms a tight, 2-4" tall by 6-12" wide cushion of dark green rosettes...a micro gem that brings big personality to the smallest of spaces.

Tiny, dark green, rounded leaves barely reach an inch long and crowd together into dense, perfectly formed rosettes. Unlike many delicate micro-hostas that require extra fuss to keep them happy in the garden, this tough little performer boasts excellent vigor and grows into a compact, cushion-like clump with surprising speed. In summer, perfectly scaled 5-7" scapes rise above the foliage to showcase charming dark purple flowers in exact proportion with the tiny mound.

Hosta 'Clusterfest' is the ultimate micro-specimen to tuck into an alpine trough, rock garden crevice, or miniature fairy garden display!
