Hosta 'Earthquake'

[L] With classic parents like Hosta 'Tokudama' and 'Niagara Falls', this Mark Zilis hybrid will make your garden tremble! Jeff and Marie White purchased the then unnamed seedling at a hosta society fundraising action. Hosta 'Earthquake' has slightly domed, deep green leaves with prominent veining and tightly scalloped margins. Growth rate and leaf substance are good. Hosta 'Earthquake' forms a large clump up to 28" tall and blooms in early to mid summer with fertile flowers.
