Hosta 'Frill Ride'

[M] Hold on tight and enjoy the ride this new introduction from Don Rawson is going to take you on. Hosta 'Frill Ride' is a cross of 'Thrill Ride' x ('Neptune' x 'Winfield Blue') with pointed, wedge-like leaves that are folded lengthwise, and edged with large, evenly spaced ruffles. The smooth leaves are a strong, waxy blue on top and frosty white underneath. Hosta 'Frill Ride' quickly grows into an upright clump about 20" tall and 26" across that blooms in mid summer with fertile, lavender flowers.
