Hosta 'Frisian Sun Wave'

[M]  This solar-powered hybrid of 'Frisian Bells' from Bate Aukema surges out of the ground in the spring like pure sunshine. Hosta 'Frisian Sun Wave' forms a semi-upright mound of pointed, heavily rippled foliage held on red petioles. Leaves emerge in spring brilliant yellow before transitioning gracefully into a fresh greenish-yellow as summer unfolds. To keep Hosta 'Frisian Sun Wave' at its peak color, give it a spot with plenty of morning sun.

NOTE: Plants are small.
