[L-VL] A green sport of Chuck and Sue Anderson's 'Bamse' that forms a monstrous mound! 'Gabber' has huge, round leaves with a slight blue cast to them. The heavy foliage cups slightly, is a bit wavy, and develops moderate corrugation as the plant matures. Leaf backs are chalky white, hinting at its Hosta pycnophylla parentage. Hosta 'Gabber' grows into a spreading mound at least 30" tall and 60" across that blooms in mid summer with white, fertile flowers.
