Hosta 'Golden Celebration'

[S] Hosta 'Golden Celebration' was the gift plant for the 2026 Midwest Convention held in Madison, Wisconsin celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Midwest Regional Hosta Society. This glowing new introduction from Don Dean emerges a soft greenish-yellow before transforming into a vibrant golden treasure by early summer. The heavy, cupped foliage is deeply puckered, more so than is typically see on a small growing hosta. Standing 12 inches tall and 22 inches wide with an upright, flared habit, 'Golden Celebration' commands attention without overwhelming its neighbors. Fertile, delicate lavender flowers grace the plant in mid-to-late summer, adding another layer of charm. A premium hybrid combining the best traits of 'Urajiro Hachijo', Hosta pycnophylla, 'Astral Bliss', 'Faith', and other exceptional varieties - this is hosta breeding at its finest!
