Hosta 'Granny's Goosebumps'
[M-L] If you love plants with incredible visual texture, hybridizer Don Rawson outdid himself with this one! Talk about character! Hosta 'Granny's Goosebumps' makes its grand entrance in early spring with bright, glowing chartreuse foliage that lights up the garden before gradually maturing into a cool summer green. These large, irregular leaves develop an intensely corrugated surface covered in prominent, puckered goosebumps that hold up remarkably well through the season, thanks to the heavy leaf substance. Rather than standing tall, the sturdy petioles hold the broad foliage out wide to form a low, sweeping mound that stretches at least 39" across while staying just 18" tall. Keep 'Granny's Goosebumps' near a pathway where you can appreciate those heavily puckered leaves up close.
