Hosta 'Holar Red Wine'

[M] The first of several coming introductions from Belgian hybridizer Ronny Van Keer. This cross of 'Harry van de Laar' x 'Katsuragawa Beni' combines genetics from two powerful red petioled hostas. The result is a deep green plant with pointed, wavy leaves that are held on stems the color of red wine. The red pushes right up the central vein of each smooth, semi-glossy leaf. Grab a glass as you enjoy watching Hosta 'Holar Red Wine' grow into a 2 foot wide clump that blooms in late summer.
