Hosta 'Holar Wild Side'

Belgian hybridize Ronny Van Keer is leading us down a path full of hosta creations we've never dreampt of, and 'Holar Wild Side' is one of his most fierce. This cross of 'Neptune' x 'Tequila Sunrise' is a wild beast of smooth, green leaves held on long, soft lavender petioles. The leaves are often twisted and the margins are rimmed by tight ruffles and large waves that let the chalky-white leaf backs peak through. Hosta 'Holar Wild Side' grows quickly to form an untamable, upright clump that blooms in late summer. Are you brave enough for a treck into the wild side of hostas?
