Hosta 'Ki-renjyaku'

[M?] A rare Japanese plant that has likely never been available in the US, until now. 'Ki-renjyaku' has rounded, yellow leaves that are fairly non-descript. Far from unattractive, but rather ordinary. What is anything but ordinary about this plant are the flowers. Hosta 'Ki-renjyaku' blooms with truly double, flower within a flower, blooms of light lavender. Many double flowered hostas are fussy about opening their spectacular flowers, but this one seems to bloom easily.
