[M] Thick, elongated leaves emerge blue-green in the spring and turn glossy, dark green by late summer. 'Lederhosen' is a hybrid of 'Invincible' and the word is German for "leather britches". The smooth, wavy foliage forms a vigorous clump about 12" tall and 32" across that look good well into the fall. Hosta 'Lederhosen' blooms in late summer with very pretty, fragrant, lavender flowers with darker inner markings.
