Hosta 'Love Story'

[M-L] If only every hosta story had such a lovely ending. This Hans Hansen introduction is a cross between a streaked 'Niagara Falls' and 'Viking Ship'. 'Love Story' is the result, with 12" long, pointed leaves of white, edged by wide, deep green, ruffled margins. Large sections of chartreuse jet out from the petiole between the white center and green edge, creating a dramatic tricolor look. Lots of closely spaced, deep veins add another layer of attraction to an already beautiful plant. Hosta 'Love Story' is a steady grower, reaching at least 14" tall and 39" across, and blooms in early summer with fertile, white flowers. Part of the Proven Winners SHADOWLAND series of hostas. PPAF
