Hosta 'Relentless'

[M] Relentless is an accurate description of Don Dean's decades-long hybridizing pursuit for hosta excellence. His multi-generation cross involving 'Liberty Bell', 'Noah's Ark', a 'Sea Drift' seedling, 'Sea Frolic', and H. kiyosumiensis is a great example of his dedication and passion. The result, Hosta 'Relentless', is a season long yellow with deeply impressed veining and ruffled leaf edges. Purple blushed bloom scapes emerge in mid summer, carrying light lavender flowers cradled in purple blushed bracts and eventually, purple seed pods. Hosta 'Relentless' grows into an open, upright clump about 17" tall and 36" across.
